1. How do I sign up for a list of my own?

   Just fill out our  join form.

2. How do I log in to my List Owner account?

   You can log in at our main page via the login box by entering your e-mail address and password (be sure to select 'ListOwner'). If you forgot your password, click on Forgot Login Info. 

3. How do I get people to join my list?

   There are many ways to build your list. You can invite people to join your list by clicking on "Invite Members" in your List Owner Control Center. From there, just enter the addresses you would like to invite and write an invitation message. Your potential members will then receive your invitation to join. Please keep in mind that all addresses which receive your invitation must reply to it in order to be added to your list.

   If you have a website, another way to get people on your list is to place the ListPower HTML code on one of your pages. Placing the ListPower button on your site will give visitors a place to subscribe to your list. In order to get a copy of the ListPower HTML code, log in to your List Owner Control Center, choose the list you wish to view, and select "Get HTML Code". You may then copy and paste this HTML code into your web page.

   You can also incorporate our list categories within your own membership signup page.  You need to know how to access our cgi program in order to do this.

4. How often can I mail to my list?

   You can currently mail to your list once / day. We may allow unlimited mailings in the future.

5. Can I put current subscribers of another list into a ListPower list?

   Yes. There is an "Invite Members" option which will allow you to transfer up to ten subscribers at a time of your current list into a ListPower list. Each address will receive an invitation message to which the user must respond in order to join your list.

   If you have an existing 100% opt in list, you can contact us at webmaster@listpower.com . If this list proves to be 100% opt in and have a membership of 5000 or more, we'll help you upload this list to your ListPower list.

6. Is there a limit to the number of subscribers I can have on my lists?

   No. You may have as many subscribers on your lists as you wish.

7. Can I download my lists anytime I need them?

   Yes. All lists are easily downloaded as text files from the ListPower system. Just click on "Download List" at your List Owner Control Panel.

8. How do I generate revenue as a List Owner or Affiliate Member?
   
   When your members subscribe to your Email List, they are invited to subscribe to ListPower's Announcement services. ListPower rents these lists out to Ad Agencies or Advertisers themselves, to bring relevant and topical information to your members. As a result, revenues are generated.  These revenues are shared between ListPower, the ListOwners, and the Referrals.
   
   
9. Who have ownership to the members/subscribers?
   
   When you create a list, you have 100% ownership to that list.  However, in order for us to generate significant revenues for you, we require that anyone signing up to your list also subscribe to at least one of ListPower's Interest Categories to receive valuable information.  ListPower will own these names.  ListPower will also share about 50% of all revenues generated from these with the first ListOwner who referred the member.
   
   For example, if you have created a list called 'John's Fishing Tips', and have inserted our list signup box at your website, then anyone who join your list and subsequently subscribed to one of our General Interest Categories, perhaps, 'Hobbies', will be recorded as referred to us by you permanently, or until the member unsubscribe from our system. We will then share any revenues generated by marketing to these subscribers with you and the person who referred you to ListPower. 
   
   
10. Would ListPower ever mail to my List?
    
    No, we will never mail to your list.  We will only mail to members who have subscribed to our interest categories. We will however, insert ads, and tag lines at the end of your announcements to help us maintain this service for free.
