What does a ListPower member means?
List members are those who join to receive mail that is sent to a
list. All ListPower Members can log in to their member accounts at the
Login Box at our homepage. Be sure to select 'Subscriber'.
Why do I need an account and password just to
be a member of a mailing list?
ListPower allows you to manage your membership for all of your ListPower
lists. When you log in to your account, you can view the lists you are on, change
your e-mail address, and unsubscribe from lists. The password allows you
to have exclusive control over your account. Once you have established
an account on ListPower, you will have to use your password to join
additional lists. This protects you so that no one else may join or
remove you from a list.
How do I unsubscribe from a list that I'm
on?
To unsubscribe, just log in to the List Member Control
Center. Once you are logged in, you can unsubscribe from any or all
of the lists you are on by clicking on "Unsubscribe from Lists".
How do I subscribe to a ListPower list?
There are a couple ways that you can subscribe to a ListPower list or
interest categories to receive topical information. One way, is to
subscribe to any of our list categories at the Subscriber
Area. Another way is to subscribe to any one of the thousands of
lists managed by our Network Partners through their website.
Is there a listing of ListPower lists that I can view and
subscribe to?
Not yet, but in the near future there will be a directory of ListPower
mailing lists to which you can subscribe.
We do however have Interest Categories that you can subscribe to at
any time. Go to your Subscriber Area to
subscribe to these categories.
Will it cost me anything to join a list?
No, ListPower is totally free. You may
join as many lists as you wish.
How do I change my e-mail address?
Log into your Subscriber Area and select the Change E-Mail option.
How long will it be before I am subscribed to a
list?
Everything on ListPower should happen very quickly. If you already have
an account on ListPower, then you will be subscribed right away. If you
are a new member, then you won't be added to the list until you respond
to the verification message.
I don't know my password. How do I find out what it
is?
You can have your password e-mailed to you. Go to the Forgot
Login Info Page to have your password sent to you.
What will the personal information you request be
used for? Will you sell my information?
We have picked several questions to ask list members when they join a
list that can be useful for the List Owner. All
questions are optional (other than your e-mail address, your name and password, of
course).
ListPower will use the information only for targeting the
advertisements included in ListPower free messages. The List Owner is
allowed to view the information and we have no control over what he or
she does with it. ListPower will not use the information for any other
purposes.
